After hours upon hours of grinding, I finally meet the requirements to create my own kingdom and be free to make war with whoever I want!!When you start your own kingdom you need to be ready to fight wars like a madman. Have companions able to field armies for you for a bit until you get some lords that come to your side. Once they do you can give them a fief each and they’ll start fielding armies. Make good friends with as many lords as possible before you decide to split. Make sure you have healthy garrisons in all your settlements before you start. Other kingdoms will be more likely to war and conduct sieges if they think your towns are undefended. Garrisons are very expensive however, so having closer to a million or more gold may be prudent. I don't know, I think thats a big mistake because what if you don't want to create your own kingdom at the beginning but join one, get yourself a name, marry someone and have kids and once you have enough fiefs with garrisons on them and a good army, create your own Kingdom. #5.

The ideal path, is to already hold fiefs the size of a normal kingdom, then form a kingdom. If you go independent prematurely, you're effectively starting off from the same position as a kingdom that's lost almost all of its territory and on the verge of extinction. Reply. Actual civil war in a faction is you leaving the faction with all your holdings and creating your kingdom of the same culture. I don't think you can take over the OG faction that way. To change kings, they must die by any means.
